The mission of the Plainville PTO is to create a successful, impactful and healthy connection between the students' experiences in school, in the community and in the home.  We provide educational programs, activities and other ways to enrich each student so they can grow. 

The PTO takes pride in supporting the Jackson and Wood Schools with enrichment programs that benefit all students.  We fund field trips for all grades 1-6 and a program for the PreK / Preschool students.  Examples of other programs or activities we have supported:

-Enrichmnent programs

- School wide assemblies

- 6th Grade Graduation events, activities and celebrations

- Teacher Appreciation Week 

- Literacy Month

- Donations to foundations and local causes

No! While we welcome and encourage attendance at our monthly meetings (2nd Thursday of each month!) we recognize that schedules can be very busy.  Please email us at PlainvilleMaPTO@gmail.com if you are interested in helping with events, activities or learning more! 

By supporting our events, fundraisers and spreading the word!  We welcome volunteers at our events, even if you cannot attend a meeting.
